History
1959 - Quality Tool begins as a metal stamping business producing parts for OEM’s, largely serving markets in Michigan and Minnesota.
1985 - The company is purchased by William Roe and Elizabeth Cole and expands its product offerings and capabilities.
1990 - Pat Kabris acquires Quality Tool equity and joins William Roe as principal senior management.
1991 - Quality Tool purchases machining business in Brookings, South Dakota in support of growing manufacturing business.
1999 - Quality Tool relocates St. Paul divisions to a modern facility at 1220 Energy Park Drive. The expanded facility provides dedicated bus bar manufacturing and advanced mechanical assembly space.
2004 - A strategic Alliance is formed with Dongguan Longguang Electric Company in Shenzhen China, providing Quality Tool with a means to meet overseas customers production needs.
2007 - Brookings facility expands an additional 25,000 sq. ft. in conjunction with the acquisition of additional stamping equipment and awarded stamping business.
