  Quality Tool named Rockwell Automation's

Quality Tool named Rockwell Automation’s “Robert Jahnke Supplier of the Year”.  The prestigious award was announced during Rockwell’s annual Supplier Conference held in Lake Geneva, WI on September 28 th, 2011. Recipients of the Jahnke Award are cited for exceptional performance across a range of categories, including productivity, delivery performance, quality, collaboration, partnership, and responsiveness. 
 
Quality Tool earned this distinction over thousands of suppliers; several hundred of which were in attendance for the presentation. Quality Tool’s President, Chuck Proulx, personally received the award from Michael Jacobs, Rockwell’s Vice President, Strategic Sourcing. Proulx was quoted as saying “This is truly a tremendous honor for Quality Tool, and the most prestigious award in the history of our company.”
 
Quality Tool has been fulfilling Rockwell Automation’s demands for metal stampings, fabricated sheet metal parts and assemblies, and electrical bus bar assemblies since 1999.  The company won a multimillion dollar transfer award of stamped products from Rockwell’s Milwaukee, WI factory in 2007, which it installed and operates from its Brookings, South Dakota facility in a new, dedicated wing.
 
Quality Tool and Rockwell Automation have collaborated on Lean Manufacturing implementation events, delivery and lead-time reduction initiatives and other total cost of ownership reduction activities.
 
Proulx also sits on Rockwell’s Supplier Council with a select group of preferred suppliers among Rockwell’s supply chain. This Supplier Council provides Rockwell’s Strategic Sourcing Organization with input in supply-chain related matters.
